Avid fans of Hokkien Mee should not be new to the name- "Ah Soon Kor Hae Mee"; one of the popular Hokkien Mees in town. They are famous for the extra "ingredients/ toppings", namely Mantis Shrimps, Spare Ribs, Roasted Pork etc. The newly opened branch at Perak Road (opposite to Padang Brown food court of Dato Keramat) occupies two shop lots, offering a more spacious and comfortable seating. Hokkien Mee is a popular choice but many would want to go for their "lor cham th'ng" (Prawn broth with gooey/ thickened Lor Mee gravy). Which side are you on? The pure Hokkien Mee or "Lor Cham Th'ng"?
